Sadly we could not find the original box.
The doll’s body and COA are marked 150/377 indicating the limited number of this doll.
From my mother-in-law’s private collection. Since she passed six months ago, my father-in-law has asked the family to help him secure good homes for all pieces of our mother’s collection. In the coming weeks We will be listing additional Annette Himstedt dolls. We have been selling several since late May / early June and have more to sell by year’s end...
Important item of note before purchasing: my mother-in-law was a smoker. The doll resided in a doll room in my in-laws house. Because of this fact- We have done the following: took the clothes off the doll carefully and did a Dryell Cleaning of the garments twice (for those that aren’t familiar with Dryell, it is a home dry cleaning product). As per the Himstedt instructions- we wiped the vinyl doll body and face with a warm damp cloth with no other cleaning product other than simple water. We did nothing to the hair.
OF NOTE: We have sold several of these Himstedt dolls recently to very dedicated and discerning collectors and each were overjoyed to report they detected no odors upon receipt of the dolls!
We have asked others to smell the doll and they detected no odor. This all said- please note as a result the doll is sold as is. A gorgeous addition to any collection. Please ask all questions before bidding. The doll has been sitting in our home for over three months, and we are a smoke free home.
