HPF2050 is an RF filter for reception.
The cutoff frequency is a high-order high-pass filter designed at about 2000kHz, which realizes steep frequency characteristics and a large amount of attenuation in spite of being compact and lightweight.
It is possible to significantly attenuate signals below the medium wave band, which may affect reception in the short wave band.
Since the through function (passing without filtering) is built in by the top switch, it is possible to turn the filter on and off without reconnecting the coaxial cable depending on the usage situation.
