This item in my EBAY store is a  "FENTON THISTLE"  MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS LARGE OVAL FTD. "BANANA BOAT".   This "FENTON THISTLE" marigold carnival glass large oval ftd. "BANANA BOAT" is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass, this "FENTON THISTLE" "banana boat" is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   This "FENTON THISTLE" pattern on this big boy that I have here happens to have two beautiful patterns, two beautiful patterns for the price of one, the secondary pattern is "CATTAILS & WATER LILY", and the carnival COLOR and iridescence is as beautiful as the inside of this oval "BANANA BOAT", I can not stress enough about the COLOR, everytime I would turn this "BANANA BOAT" and the carnival iridescence showed I took a photo and all the photos show the great COLOR on this big boy;   I may add that this  "FENTON THISTLE" MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS LARGE OVAL FTD. "BANANA BOAT" is an early FENTON vintage antique carnival glass "FENTON THISTLE" "BANANA BOAT" that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this piece of FENTON antique glass according to the condition this "FENTON THISTLE" "BANANA BOAT" remains in today;   This FENTON
THISTLE" "banana boat" is just like it left the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY many years ago;
I can not find any roughness or damage to this "FENTON THISTLE" "BANANA BOAT", this "FENTON THISTLE" pattern is a very much sought after FENTON carnival glass pattern that is produced in marigold, amethyst, blue, & green;   I've taken close up shots showing that there is NO wear any where to this big beauty that I have here, any questions please e-mail me;
I will also mention that this "FENTON THISTLE" large oval ftd. "BANANA BOAT" that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having your stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, that is also seen inside the glass of this "FENTON THISTLE" "basnana boat" that I have here, these characteristics were done during the production of this beautiful "FENTON THISTLE" "BANANA BOAT" and is NOT considered damage;   Folks I like to photograph my carnival in natural day light, it did not matter what angle or position I photographed this beautiful "FENTON THISTLE" large oval ftd. "banana boat" the beautiful iridescence and COLOR can be seen in my numerous photos taken, after all buying carnival glass is all about the...............COLOR;   This much sought after "FENTON THISTLE" pattern is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by, "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD
