The HMC1044LP3E is a programmable bandwidth LPF (Low Pass Filter) for all applications that use quadrature modulators and demodulators. The HMC1044LP3E filters out LO harmonics to ensure that the LO has little or no effect on modulator sideband rejection or demodulator image rejection. Although the HMC1044LP3E is targeted for LO filtering applications, it can also be used to filter out all RF harmonics, such as the harmonics produced by the amplifier.
