    Description

    The late 60s saw extraordinary materials develop commercially, including poured/cast acrylics that mirrored glass translucency.
    Produced around 1970, this generously-sized horse came in several popular executive desktop models. This is in a beautifully accented light amber color with lighter gradient to dark, top to bottom.
    This sole mare is cast in full gallop on a liquid support, mounted on a cultured white marble (another 60s product!) base. Overall 14" long, 12" tall; sturdy weight.
    Very good condition for 50 years age, small edge ding on base bottom. Truly a unique gift, or office accessory.
