    Description


    This is a MONSTER size rare fossil ammonite called Eopachydiscus marcianus from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group,  Fort Worth  Formation of Central Texas, U.S.A..
    It is around one hundred and three million years old, give or take five millions years! It shared the world with the dinosaurs and it's species died out with them.
    It measures 14" wide, 11-3/4" tall, 3" thick and weighs 29.7 LBS..
    I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite.
    It is a great example of the  Pachydiscus ammonite family! It has several nice clams on inner whorl! It has great sutures showing and all of the living chamber!  It has a natural stand! It has
    no repair or artificial colors.
    It has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
