MONSTER SIZE, RARE 15" TEXAS FOSSIL AMMONITE , DINOSAUE AGE, CRETACEOUS-E683

Description

This is a MONSTER size, rare fossil ammonite called Eopachydiscus marcianus from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group, Fort Worth  Formation of Central Texas, U.S.A..
It is around one hundred and three million years old give or take five million years! It shared the world with the dinosaurs and it's species died out with them.
It measures 15" wide, 13-5/8" tall, 3-1/2" thick and weighs 33.6 LBS..
I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite.
It is a great example of the  Pachydiscus ammonite family! It has great sutures showing and all of the living chamber!
It also has a rare, 2-3/4" Mortoniceras equidistans ammonite at the aperture! It has no repair or artificial colors.
It has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
