I 'M AUCTIONING OFF A  VERY POPULAR WHIMSICAL HORSE STATUE CREATED BY  THE
Kronheim & Oldenbusch COMPANY
(K&O)
, WHICH WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IN THE LATE 1930s.  One of my photographs shows the copyright date. It's difficult to read the last number, but the first three are 193, so its copyright is sometime in the 1930s.  I have seen a few of the same type of statues with "1936" printed on them, so the copyright on this one is probably 1936.  There are MANY VARIATIONS of this horse in different poses.  A jockey rides it in some.
All of the variations are highly collectible
.  The one that I have up for bids, which is about THREE INCHES LONG and HIGH, is in MINT condition, which is amazing for a metal statue that's about EIGHTY-FIVE years old.
