    Description

    Very Rare Early Vintage Hartford Rubber Works Company pin or pinback that says the number 2'in the center.  I believe that this is either a visitor badge or an employee badge but I cannot say for certain. This is an original antique pin and is from the 1900 to 1918 time period.  My limited research suggested that the Hartford rubber Works company was one of the pioneers in early Tire manufacturing and may have been responsible for the production of the first pneumatic tires.
