Stunning and rare, vintage Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Honeywell Bates desktop Atomic-style thermometer. A fantastic example of Mid Century Atomic design. It appears to be accurate. Measures 2 1/2" Tall and 2 1/4" at widest point. Weighs 7.7 oz. There are a few cracks in the plastic cover (See Pictures). Also has a slight wobble – doesn’t sit flush on table - the base is bent a bit. Even with these flaws it’s a stunning piece made by a highly sought after designer.
